You Can't Take the Sky from Me

Joss Whedon is a great guy, really.

I've been watching Firefly, his one-season series which was cancelled because FOX (at least I think it was FOX) was stupid and mean, and it's great. It's this sci-fi series set in the future (something along the lines of 2500, maybe?) and it's a mix of spaceship sci-fi and western movies. It's got this really cool westernish look in it, the music is mostly along those lines and even though it tells about a spaceship, it's pretty old-fashioned in a way - the clothes, the planets and everything. It's a really interesting setting with great characters and I really hope that it wouldn't have been cancelled.

It kind of reminds me of the anime Cowboy Bebop because of the space and cowboy thing but actually they're nothing alike. But they are both really good. And I have to say, I love the main theme of Firefly, it's this wonderful old-fashioned ballad-like song, really beautiful. It has good lyrics, too.

And yes, I wanted to try out some skins. This one is by Thewinator. Space themed. <3

Heyo. Writing here and not on the pictures to prevent excess spam... which I tend to do too much anyways ^^'

You have some very interesting photographs there. I especially like the 'bathroom' pictures [link] and [link] . The mood is superb, spooky but very fitting. Can just wonder what those red and yellowish splashes are.. :) [link] This is very lovely picture, captures pretty much the whole finland in one shot, silvery skies and partially snow covered grounds. If someone asked me to show one picture from Finland, I'd show that one. <3

[link] I really like this picture, its strangely tied to nature. The eye lashes remind me of butterfly wings and the veins of trees, the facial profile is the hills and ground. ^^

[link] I like this painting alot, the face and the hair is lovely and the whole idea works very good! ^^ There's one little thing though and its how all the flames are near the same shade. If you look at flame, there's large spectrum of colors and its very bright at hottest points. I'm not saying its bad, not at all, just that the bottom part of the picture could easily benefit from such a small change innit ^^ Good work none the less!

Also good work with the cosplay costumes and photos! ^^

Thanks a lot for your lovely comments! You're right about the flames, they should be more colourful - I kinda rushed them. Maybe I'll go back and make them better.

One thing, though. Chilly Sunset (this one [link] ) is not taken in Finland, I took it while I was in Germany last January.

But thanks again for your nice and long review! I really appreciate it.
